The cost of this product is of paramount importance to me, and the wood is expertly polished while the black is matte, which I prefer. After wearing it for a week, the size nine I purchased fits perfectly. The only downside to this product is the tree-shaped lines left from the laser etching. I am exceedingly pleased with this ring as a stand-in for my wedding ring, given my large hands.
