The Four C’s of Your Diamond

A diamond’s weight is measured in carats. Carat is sometimes confused with size, despite the fact that it is a weight measurement. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams (0.2 gram). A diamond’s clarity refers to the presence of impurities on and within the stone. When a rough stone is extracted from carbon deep beneath the earth, tiny traces of natural elements are almost always trapped inside and are called inclusions.
